“Accounts filed by Gordon Ramsay Holdings yesterday for the 12 months to the end of August 2008 showed that Mr Ramsay and Chris Hutcheson, his father-in-law and business partner, injected £5m ($8.2m) of their own money into the business to avoid administration.
The extent of the recession’s impact on the restaurant empire of Gordon Ramsay, the UK celebrity chef, has been exposed after his holding company reported a near 90 per cent fall in annual pre-tax profits.”
