A York University graduate (BA, Economics) Allan was a Restaurant/Bar General Manager before opening his own hospitality consulting company.
Allan joined Lecours Wolfson in March of 2002. Since that time he has established himself as the “go to” recruiter for several major Canadian hotel groups as well as luxury boutique hotel operators across Canada, The United States, Micronesia and the Caribbean.
Jen, a graduate of both Bishop’s University and George Brown College, joined Lecours Wolfson with nearly 20 years of hospitality experience under her belt. She began her career as an Events Coordinator and eventually specialized in both Sales and Management of Events at the multi-unit and corporate level. Jen is looking forward to capitalizing on her passion for people to help guide both candidates and clients through the recruitment process.
Patrick began his Hospitality career in the mid ‘80’s and quickly discovered his passion. After graduating from George Brown College School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, he embarked on a progressive management career that included significant management roles with Joe Badali’s Italian Restaurant and The Sultan’s Tent & Café Moroc. Most recently Patrick was in an executive sales role with Micros Systems. Patrick now brings his diverse industry knowledge and uncompromising approach to hospitality operations to Lecours Wolfson with a goal to match the best quality candidates with discerning clients.
After graduating from University of Toronto (BSc.-Nutritional Science), Leslie entered the hospitality industry and fell in love. His entrepreneurial background includes Event Planning (Panic Entertainment), Catering (Elixir Alcohol Catering Co.), Restaurants (kubo, kubo DX, kubo Radio, Lil’ Baci) and Specialty Shop (Babycake Cupcakes). Currently, Leslie is utilizing his skills to headhunt top talent in the hospitality industry, working with exceptional clients across Canada and United States.
Upon graduating from Ryerson Polytechincal Institute’s Hospitality Management Program in 1983, Angelo joined the pre-opening management team of Canadian National’s L’Hotel in downtown Toronto. Panousis held management positions in both the accommodations and restaurant sectors of the industry prior to becoming an owner/operator of his own restaurants. He joined Lecours Wolfson in 1994 and became a partner in the firm in 2001.
Angelo has been a part-time lecturer at George Brown College’s Hospitality Management program.
Jordan learned the ropes with CP Hotels’ Chateau Lake Louise, The Post Hotel (Mobil 5 Diamond Resort, Relais & Chateaux) and The Royal Lahaina Resort in Hawaii. While attending the University of Toronto he could not resist the allure of the business world and became an operating partner of both the Auberge Gavroche & L’Entrecôte, two of Toronto’s most celebrated French restaurants. Romoff joined Lecours Wolfson in 1992. He was named Vice President in 1996 and became a partner in the firm in 1999.
Jordan is an Advisory Board Member of Terroir Hospitality Industry Symposium and has been a guest lecturer at George Brown Colleges’ Faculty of Hospitality & Tourism and Humber Colleges’ School of Hospitality, Recreation & Tourism.
A ten-year industry veteran and Toronto native. Following his studies in Culinary Management at George Brown College, he immediately embarked on a career “behind the line” working as a Chef in some of Toronto’s best kitchens including Auberge du Pommier, Cava, c5 and Rain. Kevin is also a very avid traveller and has spent time living and working in New Zealand and the UK. Kevin is now excited to bring his extensive experience in restaurant operations to the team at Lecours Wolfson as a recruiter.
Aliza brings over 10 years of operations experience in quality hotels, restaurants, and private clubs to Lecours Wolfson – including Fairmont Hotels, Keg Restaurants of Canada and Clublink Corporation. She also gained invaluable international experience working with the Dan Hotel chain (Israel). Aliza’s broad range of hospitality experience and overall passion for the industry ensure she delivers high quality search results to a number of North America’s most significant hospitality companies.
Debra, an avid runner, kitesurfer and mountain biker, attended McMaster University before acquiring her Chef’s Red Seal. She has worked with several prestigious hotel chains, been a multi-unit manager for one of Canada’s largest casual dining chains and headed up new development for a National Quick Service Chain. Debra joined Lecours Wolfson in 2003 following several years with Intercontinental Hotels and Resorts where she held diverse roles such as Director of Groups and Conventions in charge of Food and Beverage and the Executive Housekeeper.
Debra is a member of Women in Food Industry Management.
A University of Toronto graduate, Kazia offers 10 years of hospitality experience, most recently gained at the Shangri-La Hotel Toronto as part of the pre-opening team. There she gained a unique exposure to both the set-up and overall operation of a hotel, working closely with the Executive Committee. Prior to the Shangri-La, Kazia managed the front office of a boutique luxury hotel and has worked for the Vintage Hotels collection in both sales and front office. Kazia has an unrelenting drive and passion for seeking out the best people and matching them with the right opportunities.
Norman began his restaurant management career with Keg Restaurants of Canada and the Dunkelman Restaurant Group (Dunkelman’s Fine Dining and The Daily Planet Café & Grill). In 1988 he joined the hospitality search firm Green, Busch & Lecours and, in 1991, he and Green, Busch & Lecours founder Leo Lecours formed Lecours Wolfson. Norman has been a guest lecturer at The University of Guelph’s Hotel and Food Administration Program, Ryerson University and Humber College’s Hospitality, Recreation and Tourism Program. He has served as a member of the George Brown College Hotel School’s Program Advisory Committee, Food Service and Hospitality Magazine’s Editorial Advisory Board and on the Selection Committee for The Ontario Hostelry Institute’s Top 30 Under 30 Award. In 2010 Norman was appointed by the Government of Ontario to the Transitional Board of Governors and The Appointments Council for the newly established Ontario College of Trades.
